"Tour de Duluth"

Seven Bikers - 95 miles - One Big Adventure
We couldn't have done it without the guys. They were such troopers in hauling all the luggage.

It was a perfect weekend! Willard Munger trail is a well kept, enjoyable trail with beautiful scenery.
Jay Cooke State Park was a beautiful camping spot.

There's nothing like a good pair of comfy shoes. However, after being in the sun, I now have tan stripes on my feet. :)

It was nice to take off our shoes and dip our toes in the water.

This may seem unbelievable, but these signs aren't just to laugh at. Josh was actually hit by a deer! - seriously.

The rest of our families met us up in Duluth, where we had a lovely time walking the lake shore.

The guys (including dads) had a blast jumping into Lake Superior. It was not only cool to watch, but "cool" doing it. In fact, they said afterwards that it was freezing. :)

Here goes Dad and Dr. Pete!

And here is their cheering squad...

Nothing ends a busy weekend better than a couple of pizzas -

We are going to make this an annual bike trip. It was so much fun and a great way to end the summer!

Lazy Rainy Days...

Sometimes it's nice just to take a nap,
with a nice cup of chai tea.

And do the dishes with Hope : )

Along with having a cup or two of Caribou coffee!

What We've Been Up To...

Sorry that it has taken so long to update! My camera broke! :(
However, that has not stopped us from having fun...
Our new favorite swimming hangout is the St. Croix River.
Indian weekend with the cousins was a blast!

Everyone loved the cooked food over the fire.

Us foreigners were pretty scared of these little warriors.
